On the evening of October 28, China Microelectronics released its 2021 third quarter report.

According to the report, in the first three quarters, China Microelectronics achieved operating income of 1.60 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.52%; realized a net profit of 61.613 million yuan attributable to the parent, a year-on-year increase of 222.53%. In the third quarter, it achieved operating income of 609 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 40.81%; realized a net profit of 35.017 million yuan attributable to the parent, a year-on-year increase of 6031.25%.

Regarding the main reason for the performance changes, China Microelectronics said that during the reporting period, the company’s revenue and net profit increased significantly, mainly because the strong market demand promoted the increase in sales volume and sales revenue. At the same time, the company continued to promote market structure adjustments to promote net profit growth.

According to the official introduction, China Microelectronics is mainly engaged in the design and development, chip manufacturing, packaging and testing, and sales of power semiconductor devices. At present, the company has formed a series of products with IGBT, MOSFET, SCR, SBD, IPM, FRD, BJT, etc. as the main marketing line. The product categories basically cover the entire range of power semiconductor devices, and are widely used in new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, frequency conversion and other fields.

Prior to this, the 2021 semi-annual report released by China Microelectronics showed that under the strong market demand for power semiconductors, China Microelectronics continued to promote the development strategy of “three structural adjustments” in product structure, customer structure, and market structure. At the same time, increase investment in product research and development, increase product market promotion, and realize the large-scale application of the company’s products in the mid-to-high-end market.

China Microelectronics said that the company will continue to steadily explore domestic and foreign markets, and promote the company’s main business and profit growth through new products, market expansion in new fields, vertical integration of the semiconductor industry chain, and industrial transformation and upgrading. At the same time, through the reasonable combination of diversified product series platforms, we can effectively increase the utilization rate of production capacity, further reduce product costs, and strive to improve the company’s operating performance to ensure the company’s stable development.
