In the third quarter of 2021, the characteristics of large-screen, high-resolution, and high-pixel camera configurations in my country’s mobile phones are concentrated in 5G mobile phone products. 5G mobile phones continue to show the development trend of high performance; the proportion of mobile phone cameras with high pixels has increased steadily. Monitoring and analysis of domestic mobile phone screen characteristics
The screen is an important interface between the mobile phone and the user, and its configuration and characteristics directly affect the user’s experience. Therefore, the screen and the core chipset are also called the two core components of the mobile phone, occupying a relatively high proportion of the cost of the mobile phone.
Dimensions
As the first Display feature of the screen, size directly determines the user’s first look and feel, and also has an important impact on the user’s usage and habits.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in the third quarter of 2021, mobile phones with large screens of 5 inches and above accounted for 85.8%, of which 5G mobile phones accounted for 100% and 4G mobile phones accounted for 100%. The ratio was 79.7%.

Resolution
Screen resolution directly affects the user’s visual senses. No matter how large the screen size is, if the resolution is too low, the user experience will also be greatly reduced. Therefore, resolution is also one of the indicators that users focus on when buying a mobile phone.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, among the mobile phones listed in my country in the third quarter of 2021, high-definition mobile phones (HD720 and above) accounted for 87.2%. 5G mobile phone high-definition models accounted for 100%, and 4G mobile phone high-definition models accounted for 82.4%.

There are many types of mobile phone screen materials. Due to different imaging principles and mechanisms, the final color saturation, brightness and power consumption presented to users are different, which has also become one of the technical characteristics of mobile phone manufacturers’ key marketing.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in the third quarter of 2021, mobile phone models made of TFT material accounted for 64.5% of the mobile phones listed in my country. TFT is still the preferred screen material technology in my country’s mobile phone industry.

Mobile phone screen ratio
The screen-to-body ratio of a mobile phone is the ratio of the screen area of the mobile phone to the area of the whole phone (candy bar phone). The narrower the frame of the mobile phone is, the more beautiful the mobile phone is. Therefore, the screen ratio of mobile phones has always been an important indicator for mobile phone manufacturers to pursue improvement.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in the third quarter of 2021, mobile phone models with a screen ratio of more than 70% accounted for 82.2%, of which 5G mobile phone models accounted for more than 70% of the screen. The ratio was 95.2%.

Monitoring and analysis of domestic mobile phone camera characteristics
Camera configuration
The camera is an important acquisition device on a mobile phone and an important carrier for users to use multimedia services.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in the third quarter of 2021, 5G mobile phones with rear cameras accounted for 100%, and models with front cameras accounted for 100%; 4G mobile phones with rear cameras accounted for 100%. Camera models accounted for 90.5%, and models with front cameras accounted for 86.5%. The configuration rate of front and rear cameras of 4G mobile phones increased slightly.

The original use of the front camera is mainly for video calls and other services. With the vigorous development of mobile Internet services, the front camera is widely used in self-portrait and OTT video calls.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in the third quarter of 2021, among 5G mobile phones with front-facing cameras in my country, models with camera pixels equal to or higher than 5 million accounted for 95.2%; among 4G mobile phones, camera pixels equal to or higher than 5 million models accounted for 71.6%.

Compared with the front camera, the rear camera of the mobile phone is used more frequently. The rear camera is widely used by users for high-definition photography and videography. Therefore, the pixel configuration of the rear camera is more demanding than that of the front camera.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in the third quarter of 2021, 5G mobile phones with rear cameras on the market in my country with a camera pixel equal to or higher than 13 million accounted for 100.0%; 4G mobile phones with camera pixels equal to or higher than 5 million The proportion of models is 82.4%.
